Vinod P. Dadlani
Mr. Dadlani joined the United Way in September of 2013. He is a native of the USVI and grew up on the island of St. Thomas and is a graduate of All Saints Cathedral School class of 1992. He furthered his studies at the University of Chicago with a degree in Political Science in 1996. Mr. Dadlani then worked in the financial sector in many different markets around the world. He returned to the USVI and headed an EDC company Tramcon, Inc., and then became the Head of Schools at All Saints Cathedral School on the Island of St. Thomas, before taking his position at the United Way. Mr. Dadlani has brought his experience in banking, finance, management, education, advocacy, public policy, and community investment to the organization. He has overseen the expansion of the organization and opened offices in the Island of St. Croix in 2016. He is proud to serve and feels humbled by the opportunity to direct the organization and is committed to his home, the USVI.
Viola K. Clarke
Finance/Executive Assistant to CEO
Ms. Clarke joined the United Way in November of 2006. She is a proud graduate of the University of the Virgin Islands. She brings to the organization many years of experience from the world of business, as a business professional with more than 35 years of experience working with diverse organizations, government, and private sectors. Her skills in business administration, computer applications and finance have supported the United Way mission since she has joined. Ms. Clarke is very active in our community and dedicates her time to support the United Way’s Mission with her knowledge that she has acquired from volunteering at several community-based organizations that help shape and enhance her professionalism.
Senior Development Officer
Andrea Burgess-Figueroa joined the United Way USVI team in March 2016. She works as a Sr. Development Officer Territory wide. She was raised on the island of St. Thomas where she graduated from Charlotte Amalie High School. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from North Carolina State University. Upon the completion of her degree she returned home to the USVI to make a positive difference in the community. Andrea’s professional career began in the private sector with EDC Investment firms in Charlotte Amalie where her talents and skills were recognized in project management, research analysis and administrative support. She also worked at the V.I. Legislature on both Central and Senatorial staff where her knowledge of legislative processes and procedures afforded her the opportunity to be proficient in historic and current legislative affairs. She is proud of her heritage and believes in service, this is a way of life. Prior to joining the United Way, Andrea volunteered with several non-profit organizations to offer tangible solutions to the problems we face in the Virgin Islands community. She has brought her knowledge and experience to serve in the USVI.
